A practical three-card spread for decision-making and problem-solving.
Positions
- Situation — The current circumstances and root of the matter.
- Action — The approach, mindset, or step that will serve you best.
- Outcome — The likely result if you take the suggested action.
When to use: Use this when you have a specific decision and want to see the path that follows from taking action.
Worked example
“How should I handle this overwhelming project?”
The situation is too much for one person. The action is to focus on one small, repeated task rather than the whole mountain. The outcome is recognition — but only after you drop what is not yours to carry.
